Transcription: If we believe that wolves are evil creatures that hate and kill people, it makes it easy for us to slaughter them. Many of our beliefs are formed during childhood from stories, what adults tell us, and observation. Stories have been used to mislead and scare children for many years. In Little Red Riding Hood, the gray wolf is portrayed as a child killer, a thug that beats up grandmothers, and a liar. Upon observation, one would see that wolves do not assault grandmothers, eat children, or tell lies.
